Dr. Jonathan Bensing

Dr. Jonathan Bensing is a board certified oral and maxillofacial surgeon dedicated to providing compassionate, patient-centered care for a wide range of conditions affecting the mouth, jaws, face, and temporomandibular joints.

He earned his Doctor of Dental Medicine degree from the University of Pennsylvania School of Dental Medicine and completed his training in oral & maxillofacial surgery at Walter Reed National Military Medical Center (WRNMMC). Dr. Bensing subsequently completed a fellowship in Minimally Invasive Maxillofacial Surgery at Massachusetts General Hospital, where he developed specialized expertise in the diagnosis and treatment of TMJ disorders.

Dr. Bensing currently serves as an attending oral and maxillofacial surgeon at WRNMMC, where he is actively involved in the training and mentorship of oral surgery residents. His clinical interests include dentoalveolar surgery, office-based anesthesia, and the treatment of TMJ disorders. He is committed to providing evidence-based care and developing individualized treatment plans that help patients achieve lasting improvements in comfort, function, and quality of life.
